Go

The classic board game Go. The objective is to surround a larger total area of the board with your stones than the opponent.

Set your piece on any junction of the board to commence the game. Switch turns with your opponent, setting one stone per turn. Enclose your opponent's stones completely to remove them from the board. Command more area than your opponent by the end of the game to win. Use tactics to prevent your opponent's moves while increasing your own territory. Note that stones are stationary once placed, unless taken. Play concludes when both players forgo their turns consecutively, indicating no more actions can benefit either side.
